  2. The robot is blinking red and blue even after drying it as the indicator of the blinking would be that the motor was getting wet. Is there any way to make it work again if possible non-intrusive

  3. Hello! My vacuum will only move one direction across the pool and then get stuck and not move. It previously could move both directions, would hit the pool wall and then go the opposite direction. What can I do to solve this?

  4. My Aiper seagull quit working some time ago. I got it off of Amazon and they will not send it here anymore, I’m in Puerto Rico. It would not charge at all, no lights, nothing. Last week I plugged it in and today it was showing blue lights like it was charging so I unplugged it. When I did this it blinks red. So now it blinks red, red, red, blue and red, red red red blue and red and once in a while it will blink green once then red red red blue and red all over again. $200 is a lot of money to throw away in a few months and I would really like to get it working. Can you please help me? I loved this when it worked. Thank you

  5. Hello,

I just bought a Seagull SE.

I feel like the jet is too powerful because when it bounces off a wall, it spins around. Because of this, it never goes to a good part of the pool in the center.

    Can you help me?

    Thank you.

  6. Seagull SE charges to full. When I turn it on, the back motor will start up for 2 seconds, stop, run 2 seconds, stop, run 2 seconds, turns off. The lights on it come on blue. I can’t find any info online about what could be wrong. Help!

  7. Red and blue flashing lights after only ten minutes. I saw on a chat site it might be the motor flooded. How in the world would that happen!!??? Isn’t it made to be underwater…. Faulty seal?? It is only a year old and I have taken very good care of it! So disappointed.

      • We have the same problem and we have had it for less than 9 months and only two months using it, I bought it during the winter.

  8. My robot flashes ORANGE, WHEN FULLY CHARGED AND I PLACE IT in the pool. It then sits there, without moving.
I’ve checked all possible blockages that I can see.
    It’s only 18 months old
    What is wrong with it?

    • We purchased the seagull se last summer. It has worked well, but last night when we went to charge it, only one light is lit instead of four that shows when it is charged. Is our seagull broke or what do we need to do?

  9. My Seagull charges fine but when put in the pool it goes to the side and stops. If I turn it a bit does go to the other side of the pool then stops again. It seems to be not turning once it hits the side of the pool

  10. I just purchased a aiper robotic pool cleaner and manual states it is fully charged when the blue flashing light goes solid. My problem is that the light nevers goes solid. I left it plugged up for several days and was still flashing and never went solid. I ran the robot and it only lasted for less than 30 minutes

    • Me too.
This seems to be quite a common problem, looking at other comments here.
I have asked a techie to look at mine.
In spite of internet search, I have not found a tech manual. The Users Manual does not include such problems.
This robot scored highly on best buys !

  11. We used to twice this season with no issues whatsoever. The third time we plugged it in, all blue lights stayed on the entire charging time. Then, when we went to put it in the pool, we got all four solid blue lights, followed by the first light turning red, going out, then the second light turning red, then it went out. We just keep getting that same sequence

  12. I plugged in and beeps, blinks 1 blue light, after a few mins the 1 blue light stays on, I unplug and try and turn on and I get nothing no beep no light. I let it sit and charge for 2 hrs and still same thing. I’m getting nothing out of it.

  13. I pulled my pool Aiper Seagull SE out To use for the first time this season… When I plug-in it lights up and says it’s fully charged… But when I unplug it, nothing happens, it will not turn on.

    • I’ve only had my seagull se for a year and used it four or five times, now when I put on the charger and the indicator light shows it’s charging but when I take it off of charge…nothing! It goes blank, no lights, nothing, nada, zilch. So how do I change
the battery or is there something else wrong with it? How can I get a new battery and if not the battery, the warranty has since expired? How can I get this issue fixed? I actually love this machine and would like to get it fixed as soon as possible (if possible), Thank you!

  14. Im having an issue with the unit being fully charged, but not moving when turned on and placed in pool. The jets push/pull the doors open but no movement happens. It was working fine a week ago. It moves about 4ft and releases air bubbles and gets stuck. The lights are all on (4) and blue in color. I have had the unit for about 3 years.

  15. Pulled out from storage (was cleaned, dried and boxed at the end of last summer). Connected unit to charger. White light came on and remains on. Pressing power does nothing. Disconnecting and reconnecting the charger does nothing. I have the charger plugged back in, not sure what to do.

  16. Whenever I plug my Aiper in to charge, the blue lights flash and it won’t stop beeping. And then the motor runs for a second after every other beep. I’ve tried letting it charge completely (while beeping), and then putting it in the pool anyway, but it does one run and then stops/dies?

    • This seems to be a common problem. It is my problem, as well. It will not reverse direction. This is a refurbished unit they sent as a replacement under my warranty. They will not honor the refurbished unit’s warranty because the warranty only applied to my original unit. Really? Just tell me how to fix the darn thing! I am appalled they offered to send me another refurbished unit for $90 that only has a 3 month warranty!

  17. Bought mine in July 2023 and now it wont charge after 3 months of ownership. Only used it once in October, so 2 months of use. When I plug in the device, the green charging light starts fading on and off. Definitely out of $200.00.

  18. Seagull Pro: The dial was hard to turn but when I used force it turned. Then after a week of not using it after full charging I put it in the pool and it did nothing except blow some bubbles. I removed it, charged it (five minutes to full GREEN) and placed it back in the pool. It blew some bubbles moved about a foot and the RED flashing light condition occurred. I took it out of the pool and saw that the wall, floor and combination lights glow intermittently and the motor is humming. So much for quality I used it a total of 15 times.

  19. I have a rectangular pool. The Aiper seagull pro has difficulty to follow a systematic path for cleaning. In fact it follows one path back and forth until it drains the battery. The navigation system lacks intelligence to make proper calculations.

  20. Wow, I should of read all this before I bought also. My Seagull SE flashes red and blue lights and does nothing. It was showing a solid white light like it was frozen. It would not turn off or on. I had to let the battery die over a day and charge again. Its turning off and on now but its just flashing the red and blue lights. It sounds like this thing is garbage.

  21. I have a 3 month old aiper seagull pro. Charger shows a red light for 2 seconds then goes to solid green. My battery is dead. I tried again today and the fans were turning and still didn’t charge. Could it be my charger that plugs into the wall?

  22. Our pool cleaner SE Siegel is newish and it won’t charge anymore. It looks like it’s charging when we plug it in but then when we put it in the water after another day to charged it doesn’t move it’s not charging a full charge.

    • Aiper SE Seagull will not hold a charge. What can we do? Is there an internal battery that needs to be changed that we plug the cord into the cleaner. It’s supposed to be warranty for one year. I got ours in March 7.

  24. My Aiper Se will not charge! I plug it in, the blu light comes on, then I hear three short beeps, the motor attempts to engage, red lights flash, and then it shuts down. This should not happen. I have only had the unit fir one week and I only used it three times. Please help!

  25. We purchased the above product through Amazon in April 2023. It was not used until the first week in July. It is no longer working. We paid good money for this product and want to see what can be done to help us. The machine has actually not worked for the last 3 weeks. The lights are blinking red and blue, which according to my research means that the motor has been flooded. I am pretty sure there is a 12 month warranty for the product. Please contact me and advise me to know what to do. I appreciate your help very much.

    • There is 12 month warranty, had mine for about 5 months, red and blue flashing lights and not moving, filed claim and they asked me to include a video of the issue- we’ll see if they fix this, will share follow up either way.

  26. My Aiper SE quit working after 3 uses. The battery was fully charged I unplugged it and it would not turn on. I tried pressing the power button and it started making sounds – randomly the light would come on. The charging light on the cord blinked green then after 30 min charging and then started beeping like a fire alarm.

  28. So been having problems with the super seagull se. it will just stop after random number of passes on my above ground pool. Once I even fully charged it and it wouldn’t turn on. Then I left it charged over night and it started working. Then it cut off again in the pool.

NO RED LIGHTS random Areas it stops. Please help

  29. First problem was would not go in reverse. Then after a few weeks wouldn’t move, got flashing green and red indicating impeller blockage. Simple fix was to remove 4 screws, check impeller for blockage (no blockage seen), but one of the impellers rotated easily by hand and the wa stuck and would not rotate. I gently rotated stuck impeller and it began to move freely. Reattached four screws and problem was fixed👍. In retrospect, I should have done same procedure when it wouldn’t go in reverse.

  30. The robot does not turn on, the charging test has been carried out for 1 hour after the beep. but it still doesn’t work when i dunk it in the pool. Before getting into the pool, I turn on a red light and it goes off.

    • I have the same problem. I purchased the unit about 2 months ago also. Others on this form have stated that they have gotten in touch with the Aiper customer service department but only encountered a run around scenario with no satisfaction being offered. I thought that I had done my due diligence by reading reviews and all appeared to good before I purchased it. So what I see are blatant misguiding reviews that are probably written by Aiper themselves.

  31. I have charged my Aiper Seagull SE. Solid four blue lights. Get it ready to do it’s job and then four red lights flash on and off. I’ve turn this on/off ensured it’s charged (overnight) and the same problem persists. I’ve purchased this new and used it for 1 1/2 months (if that). Any suggestions on how to fix other than taking a sledgehammer to it?

  32. I have had my Aiper for approximately 1 month and I have used it 3 times. Now it is just moving around in circles…almost looks like it’s cleaning the walls in very small movements.

I am so upset as these this machine was very expensive!

  33. My Aiper Seagull SE was working great for about a month and a half, but it will now only vacuum in one direction. It won’t reverse and go the other direction. It’s not that the reverse is weak. It won’t even try. Like I said, it just stopped working after about a month and a half of use. Any thoughts on what to do?

    Reply Submit Your Own Issue
    • Mine is the same…worked great for about 2 months and now will only work in one direction. I tried taking off the 4 screws and cleaning it. I did remove some hair but now it barely moves forward. Very frustrating! It worked great the first 2 months.

    • Having the same issue with this unit right out of the box……this is actually a replacement unit for my be that we had to return because it would not fully charge after less than a month of use…..customer service is no help at trouble shooting and replacing unit took over 3 weeks…..if the same holds true again we will be 6 weeks of prime summer time weather without a pool vacuum!

  34. I just purchased an Aiper Seagull SE and using it for the first time. I followed directions exactly as written. The blue indicator light turned on and it beeped. I held it in water for 30 seconds and then lowered it to the bottom of the pool. It seems to be moving correctly, but with red and green (maybe blue) lights staying on/not blinking. Nothing in manual explaining what this means. Is something wrong?

    Reply Submit Your Own Issue
    • Red and Blue on the last page of the manual says “water immersed” – but doesn’t have a remedy for this situation.

Mine is also blinking red, but then intermittently almost yellow- I’m guessing this is green? Anyway, red and green blinking means “impeller blocked” . another user said they took off 4 screws somewhere and found an acorn. I will try this too.

  35. My Seagull randomly stopped working while in the pool. I took it out because I thought it was out of battery. It is now fully charged. It turns on all blue lights lit up, but it does not move at all and it turns itself off after a minute or so.

  36. Just received aiper seagull se today. When trying to charge white light comes on and sounds like motor is running. I am unable to turn off with switch. No other color lights ever come on. I don’t want to leave plugged in for fear it may burn up motor.

      • I have the same issue. My first Aiper quit working after 11 months. They sent a refurbished replacement and after only 2 months, the replacement now flashes red and blue, which is a motor flooding and needs to be repaired or replaced. Customer service will not replace because I am now out of the 1 year warranty from the original purchase date, even though the replacement period is only 2 months. I’m basically out $260.

      • I have the same issue that Angie is stating. Had the first one for about 10 months then it went bad. They sent me a refurbished unit and I have used it about 6 to 8 times in the past 9or 10 months, then it won’t charge and the light flash red/ blue/ green. Not real happy with Aiper.units. I can’t recommend their products for reliability.

      • I used mine Aiper from last may when I got it till the end of season which I closed in September. All winter i kept it charged unplugged it and then recharging it all winter!! It’s keeping the charge! But placed in my pool last week and it goes for a bit then red and blue lights flash a waste of $$$ for sure I’m past warranty also! So frustrated don’t recommend buying this product

      • Do not buy this thing it’s a f****** piece of s*** and they don’t stand behind it at all they give you a bunch of runarounds and emails and b******* they do not back up these at all minus 2 months old and no good if anybody wants to know I’ll send him a videos and files and emails from the company they are a bunch of scam artists and Liars do not buy this product you will not be happy the motor floods give it some serious thought it’s an underwater vacuum that the motor floods the battery shorts out and acid comes out of it also do not buy this because you could possibly burn your house down

      • I bought the robot in May, it has cleaned the pool 5 times and the LED lights no longer work, half of them do not turn on and it does not start
