  1. My charger light is green when it is plugged in to the vacuum charging port (indicating full charge). But once I disconnect the vacuum and put it in water, it doesn’t turn on. The knob turns to ON position, but the blue light doesn’t come on and vacuum doesn’t move.

  2. My unit showed full charge. When I went to turn it on to use in the pool the blue light would not come ,I put it back on charge thinking it might be low and when it was on charge I tested the switch and it lit up so shut it quickly not to cause problems,Help will not run?

  3. After 3 months my Aiper 1000 HJ1103J charges normally but when I turn it on and sink it into the pool it only runs in one direction. Basically it runs up to an edge and sits there with the jets on one side opening but not the other side. I have cleaned it and Looked at all parts but nothing seems broken. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

  4. Hello, I put the machine to charge but charger stays green and doesn’t charge it. I replaced the charger and it worked for the first 2 times charging successfully but third time same green light and no charge. What could it be? Thank you.

  5. i have a 30″ round pool. when the cleaner goes in it doesnt get the whole pool it only does half the pool and repeats areas it had allready went over. is this an issue with the device? or is this an issue with the numbers on the dial incorrectly set? what numbers should the dial be at for my size pool if that is the reason. thanks

  6. Only used handful of times and it was AWESOME! Today I did the normal charging and pushed button as normal to begin the vacuum process and submerge in pool but the blue lights came on and the red lights flash then blue then red. I just purchased this summer. I love this machine, I need it in my life!

    • Had my Aiper vacuum used it maybe 3times first summer just dirt. All charged up POOF no go!! 2months!! Now back to old fashioned way of hooking up vacuum. 18’ pool not even. If anyone has luck getting refunds please give details seems like there’s a whole bunch who would like to get in it

    I’ve had my Aiper vacuum for 2 years now. Model: HJ1103J – which appears to be an equivalent of the Seagull 1000 – perhaps renamed since my purchase, as I do not recall that being the name when I purchased it. Nevertheless…

    Last year, a motor unit stopped functioning, however, Aiper was kind enough to send me a new one. No problems all of last season after the replacement.

    This year, after opening my pool, I used the vacuum and only experienced about 10 minutes of runtime before it decided it was done. My tray was not full. It was not heavy debridement. To note: the vacuum was stored in my basement during the off season – I am in a Midwest state.

    At first, I figured maybe I didn’t see the light correctly on the charger and pulled it off too soon. I then put it on the charger and waited for the green light the next day.

    After running it a second time, I ended up with the same problem. The vacuum lasted about 10 minutes, and I could visibly see only about 1/3 of the pool had been cleaned.

    Has anyone had this issue not be related to the driver kit/battery?

    Any suggestions?

    • Same failure as mine. It’s a faulty sensor. You have to send it back. Very poor craftsmanship and materials. Searching the forums, there are a lot of them having this issue. Seems to be a bad batch of boards. Good luck with the warranty process

  9. On my first try the machine cleaned the walls; on my second try the machine cleaned the floor of the pool; on my third try it again cleaned the pool floor. I believe I have’nt set the mode correctly… how do I find AUTO. I understand the machine will clean the floor until the battery is half spent, then it begins to work on the walls. How do I find the true AUTO setting? I don’t see an arrow, or any indication of where the selection button is set. Zee

  10. My Aiper seagull will run for a few minutes long the bottom of the pool and then it stops and won’t run anymore. If I take it out and turn it off and on it works again, but only for a few minutes. What’s happening?
