If Hayward Tigershark cannot climb pool walls:
Solution:
• Clean the filter. It may be clogged or too heavy from excessive debris.
• Brushes may be worn. Inspect brushes and replace if worn.
If Hayward Tigershark fails to pick up fine or heavy debris:
Solution:
Clean the filter. It may be clogged.
• See (page 13, Fig. c) Clip the high velocity inlet to the bottom lid. This inlet creates extra suction for
lifting fine or heavy debris. This part also can be helpful if unit becomes routinely stuck on a raised main drain.
If Hayward Tigershark starts working momentarily but then stops working:
Solution:
Impeller may be clogged or jammed with debris. Check and clean if necessary following the instructions
in the maintenance section (page 10).
• Brush rollers or drive tracks are stuck. Check for debris and clean if necessary.
• TigerShark is out of the water. Put TigerShark in water and reset the power.
Tiger Shark drop debris back into pool when pulling out of pool
Submit Your Own IssueTiger Shark QC turns upside down after climbing walls and won’t get upright.
Submit Your Own IssueEvery time my Hayward Shark backs up its back end raises up. The only time it has an oppotunity to pick up debris is when it moves forward. Any solution to this?
Submit Your Own IssueShark will start to work but you have to give it a push and will run for 10-15 seconds then stops if you help it take off it will do same thing over and over
Submit Your Own IssueMy Shark has suction and I can see that the rollers will go forward a tad, in the end it stays in one spot
Submit Your Own IssueI just bought a new bottom plate as the old latches seemed not to hold the bottom on and debris would fall out, just as it had done a nice job cleaning. I tried duct tape but finally gave up and ordered a new bottom. It seems to latch better but I’ve still had issues of it coming loose and pooping out all its contents, just when I’m lifting it out of the water. Also, on the new plate, the little flappers at the center of the plate come out at the drop of a hat requiring putting them back in the little groove and snapping the bottom plate back onto them. Never had a flap issue with the old plate. The new plate SEEMED to have a good slide and security of the latches but no, the bottom is still wanting to come loose when I lift it out. Cleaning function seems great. I also have new filters and clean them regularly. Ideas? More duct tape every time I clean? PS One of the little flappers went into the deep end and now I’m needing to go fetch it. Gah!
